Shadow’s Death

My darling slaves, this will not be like My usual blogs or ramblings about how to be a perfect slave. Perhaps you will realize that your Lady Helena actually has a heart sometimes… hehehe..

I have had a cat for 8 years. She has been My companion, My best friend, My snuggle partner and My entertainment at many times. She was not like a regular cat. Even My friends who hate cats loved Her. She would great anyone at the door when they came in. She was so loving and just always wanted to be the center of attention. I think She got that attribute From Me.

I had to work for a while yesterday morning and when I arrived home My baby was laying in the floor, had gotten sick and was barely breathing. Of course I rushed Her to the vet but there was nothing they could do. They said She had Congestive Heart failure. The crazy thing is, She had been fine and had been showing no signs of being ill. I had to leave My baby there to be cremated and I just feel so alone. I came home and just hugged My lil pig… ( yes I also have a pig, I have had for one year almost)

I did not write this to bring you all down but I wanted you to know what I have been through. I will heal with time but as many of you know who have had a pet, they are family. She was My only family here for a very long time. So I have found a poem and wanted to dedicate My blog to My sweet little witch cat “Shadow”. Thank you all for your support while I greave and get use to the quiet at night.

When tomorrow starts without me,
and I’m not there to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes,
all filled with tears for me,

I wish so much you wouldn’t cry,
though I know your heart aches so
But remember it was for the best…
It was my time to go.

I know how much you love me…
As much as I love you.
And each time you’re thinking of me,
I know you’ll miss me too.

When tomorrow starts without me,
don’t think we’re far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I’m right here in your heart.

Your Commander

Lady Helena
